SmartFiler Backup Appliance

SmartFiler Backup Appliances are simple to use and provide secure and reliable data backup, both onsite as well as offsite.  The unique design of SmartFiler Backup Appliance enables any small and medium business to own its offsite backup solution.  By pairing an Onsite SmartFiler at the office with an Offsite SmartFiler at a remote location of your choice (Home, Branch Office, Data Center, etc.), you have total control of your offsite backup as opposed to storing data at unknown locations offered by online backup vendors.  Backing up and recovering huge volumes of data using an online backup service is impractical (The practical maximum limit for online backup is about 10GB to 20GB).  In addition, using a SmartFiler Backup Appliance solution you save the monthly service charges of an Online Backup Service. SmartFiler Virtual Backup Appliance

The SmartFiler Virtual Backup Appliance provides all the functionality of the SmartFiler Backup Appliance without the dedicated appliance hardware. SmartFiler Virtual Backup Appliances run on VMware Player, VMware Workstation, or VMware ESX/ESXi and operate identical to our physical backup appliances.

The SmartFiler Virtual Backup Appliance is also available pre-installed on USB disks for plug-n-play implementation of remote backup.
